I have been trying to do this based on the output of the ospp.vbs /dstatus command. Somehow with a Microsoft Support Rep in an online chat, I was able to activate Word by signing into my Microsoft account however when opening Excel, I was asked for my keychain login access.
I recently updated to Microsoft Office 2016 for Mac.
The user is licensed and signed in but Office 2016 believes that the product is not activated. Microsoft Word 2016 for Mac keeps asking to be activated when it's been activated for Microsoft Excel 2016 for Mac. Code: if ((gwmi win32_operatingsystem | select osarchitecture).osarchitecture -eq '64-bit') exitIt looks to activate fine but I am trying to sort the installation success detection now. Office 2016 will randomly deactivate itself and once that happens there seems to be no other solution than to create a brand new Windows user account on the local machine.
